COMMUNITY-LED MONITORING
OneImpact CLM is more than just an app, it’s a voice for people affected by TB. With a simple mobile tool, people with TB and community members can report problems they face, learn about TB and their rights and connect with others for support. Behind the scenes, a dedicated response team sees these reports on a coded dashboard and acts fast to solve them. This turns TB care into what it should be people-centered, accountable and supportive.
Tajikistan was one of the very first countries contributing to bring OneImpact to life. Back in 2016, the Stop TB Partnership, Tajikistan joined forces with Stop TB Partnership/UNOPS, Dure Technologies and Republican Center of Protection of Population from TB to develop and pilot the platform. The results were so powerful they were showcased during the World Union Conference on Lung Health 2017 in Mexico. Today, this community-led innovation is being used in more than 36 countries, but it all started here.
In Tajikistan, our response team is made up of TB specialists, a psychologist, a lawyer and community representatives. Together, they listen to the voices coming through the app and respond with real solutions. In 2024 alone, we helped resolve 1,500 challenges from fixing problems in TB services, to addressing stigma, protecting human rights and managing side effects of treatment.
But OneImpact doesn’t stop at problem-solving. It also brings direct support to people in need. Last year, patients received 22,670 somoni in assistance, 2,590 kg of lentil-rice mixture, clothing, food and even wheelchairs for those who needed them most. These are not just numbers they are acts of solidarity that help people with TB feel seen, supported and never alone in their journey.
OneImpact CLM is proof that when communities are empowered, TB care becomes stronger, fairer and more human.
