ADVOCACY

At Stop TB Partnership Tajikistan (STBPT), advocacy is at the heart of everything we do. Founded and led by people who have lived through TB, we bring the voices of communities to the center of decision-making and ensure they shape the policies and solutions needed to end TB.

We believe ending TB in Tajikistan and worldwide require more than medicine. It demands strong partnerships, bold leadership and meaningful engagement of both state and non-state actors. That’s why STBPT works hand-in-hand with government, civil society, communities and international networks to push for person-centered, multidisciplinary TB prevention and care.

Driving change nationally and globally

STBPT connects Tajikistan with regional and global partners, sharing innovations, lessons and success stories that inspire progress everywhere. At the national level, we work closely with decision-makers and high-level platforms to monitor Tajikistan’s progress toward the UN High-Level Meeting on TB key targets and commitments, ensuring accountability and action. At the community level, we collaborate with local authorities so that every family and individual affected by TB can access the care and support they need.

Voices that matter

Through digital platforms like OneImpact Tajikistan, we collect real-time feedback from people affected by TB and bring their concerns directly to policymakers. This creates an environment of collaboration, helping to remove barriers, improve accountability and keep Tajikistan on track toward its End TB goals.

We also amplify advocacy through Our Champions: No TB! - a team of celebrities, public figures and journalists who use their voices to inspire action. Their messages encourage TB screening, raise awareness and help shift attitudes toward health-seeking behaviors across the country.
