The Voice of the TB Community in Bali, Indonesia

22-10-2024

The fact that tuberculosis (TB) is treatable, the importance of continuous support, the need to eliminate gossip and stigmatization of those affected, the shared challenges faced by individuals with TB, timely referrals, and the necessity to involve as many decision-makers as possible in the global effort to end TB were key messages conveyed through a performance by Daler Rahmonzoda, a theater and film artist and Stop TB Ambassador for Bali, Indonesia. This took place during the "Community Engagement" section of the World Lung Health Conference.

The performance of the song "No TB" by the country's leading singers and Stop TB Ambassadors, Zaynura Pulotova and Habib Hakimov, served as a powerful reminder of the need for unity in the fight to end TB.

The Global Lung Health Conference was held in Bali, Indonesia, from November 11 to 16, 2024. The event was attended by the Management of the Stop TB Partnership in Tajikistan and Stop TB Ambassadors.

This gathering of TB sector representatives from around the world provides a valuable opportunity to coordinate future activities and implement effective measures to achieve the goal of ending TB globally.

YES! WE CAN END TB.
